Good Takes Root: Thermory Partners With Habitat for Humanity

A new initiative begins with Habitat for Humanity, bringing lasting outdoor spaces to communities in North Carolina.

At Thermory, we believe good things grow when we invest in the places we call home. That’s why we’re launching Good Takes Root, a giving back campaign dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations that share our commitment to sustainability, stronger communities, and a better future.

Rooted in our belief that building better goes beyond the materials we make, Good Takes Root reflects an important part of our mission: giving back to the communities that help us grow.

Our first partnership is with Habitat for Humanity, supporting its work to build stronger communities and create places people are proud to call home. Through this partnership, Habitat for Humanity will construct multiple decks in North Carolina using Thermory Benchmark Pine Decking. By contributing materials for these projects, we’re helping create welcoming outdoor spaces for people to enjoy for years to come.

Cristian de Rosa, Thermory USA CEO

“As a father of five, I think a lot about the world we’re leaving for the next generation. Giving back is one way we can help create a better place for our children to grow up—a place with stronger communities, a healthier environment, and more opportunities for everyone. Good Takes Root is about putting those values into action and making a difference that reaches beyond our business,” said Cristian de Rosa, CEO at Thermory USA.

Good Takes Root is designed to grow beyond a single organization. We’re committed to exploring future partnerships with eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with our values, including environmental stewardship, sustainability, community development, and creating opportunities for future generations.

Meg Hartman, Marketing Director at Thermory USA, shares: “We want this initiative to be a meaningful extension of who we are—not just what we build, but the positive impact we can make together.”

Building a better future takes people, partnerships, and a willingness to invest in something bigger than ourselves.
