Thermory USA is pleased to share that CUTEK® Extreme has been approved for use with SaferWood™ ignition-resistant wood following successful third-party testing confirming compatibility with SaferWood’s Thermex-FR® fire-retardant treatment.

Testing confirmed that wood treated with SaferWood Thermex-FR® and finished with CUTEK® Extreme maintained the same Class A surface-burning performance required for code-compliant fire-retardant-treated wood and ignition-resistant materials. The testing also demonstrated that the two technologies work together without negatively impacting one another’s performance.
